Here’s your wild caught salmon.
We offer Coho & Sockeye salmon, fresh frozen or smoked and canned. Eric Macias and his hard working crew, fish the pristine waters of southeast Alaska and consider themselves ocean stewards in their practices and devotion to the sustainable harvest of some of the best, most nutrient rich fish available. Caught and flash frozen at the peak of freshness, we offer our catch once a year and deliver it to you at the end of our season in your chosen quantity. Order enough to stock your freezer with confidence that it will be fresh, flavorful and the perfect addition to your meal, party or gathering!

The Catch.
Our catch of King & Coho Salmon is truly the superfood of the sea and is arguably the best tasting, too. But we are biased! Traceable & caught wild, our salmon is a delicious way to nourish you & your family. Our fresh frozen fish are delivered to you after being meticulously processed by our favorite US partners. From our boat to your table, we are proud to offer you a unique connection to the pristine Alaskan waters where your salmon is harvested.
The Boat.
The Silver Wave F/V is a soulful 1967 wooden fishing boat. She has a lot of grit, charm and beauty and is home to a hearty crew based out of Bainbridge Island, WA. The Silver Surfer is her trusty aluminum skiff, which directs the boat's net to bring in the catch. Why the name Silver Wave? In Alaska, a ‘silver wave’ is when a large shoal of Coho Salmon, commonly called "Silvers" swim together in mass to create a wave, a Silver Wave. It’s a sight to behold and something we never tire of!
The Captain.
Meet Eric Macias, the owner, captain and founder of Silver Wave. It’s a gift to find your true calling and Eric found his fast. After just one summer fishing in Alaska, Eric found his passion and his life-long career. This will be his 15th season salmon fishing in Alaska, and his 10th as a SE AK permit holder and owner of the Silver Wave. He is passionate about his catch, its sustainable future, and sharing delicious, nutritious salmon with his customers.
